Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and the great part is it's a hidden cross tube which means all that's gonna be visible is the business end here of the hitch and this is gonna be a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is awesome. You have plenty of different applications as far as ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers. This is the most common size. Now when getting those accessories in place you are gonna need to get a 5/8 pin and clip. more

And that means that the main portion of the hitch is hidden pretty well behind the rear fascia. So the only thing that's going to be visible from the outside of the vehicle is going to be the two inch trailer hitch receiver as well as the plate-style safety chain loops here. That's gonna give it an overall cleaner look. And also it's got this nice matte black powder coat finish which also kind of makes it a little stealthier than your typical gloss black. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Kia Sorento- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver on a 2022 Kia Sorento. Now this is what it's gonna look like when it's installed on your Sorento and you can see that this is an exposed cross tube meaning that you are gonna see the hitch portion hanging down past the rear fascia and that tube is gonna be welded in line with that. Now there are other options out there for a hidden cross tube that allows that tube to be hidden behind the bumper. And this one overall doesn't look too terribly bad. It does kind of add that to the bottom but you're getting a lot of value added here with the hitch and that ability to be able to have not only a ball mount, bike racks and cargo carriers, but really anything that life throws your way. And whatever accessory you're choosing, having a two inch by two inch is kind of the standard. more

But before we get into that, why don't we take a minute and check this out, make sure it'll work for you. So just because you have an electric vehicle, doesn't mean you can't still get out there and enjoy yourself and use your accessories and pull your light trailers around like you we're doing before. And so putting a trailer hitch on the EV6 is gonna open up your opportunities and what you're gonna be able to do and use your vehicle for, so having a hitch back here is gonna let you use them bike racks and do all those different types of things. etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Kia Sedona- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer trailer hitch receiver here on a 2019 Kia Sedona. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle here. Now it does have a visible cross tube, meaning it hangs down behind the bumper here, but there's not a ton of room up there for you to hide the cross tube so, the visible cross tube is just something we're gonna have to deal with. Now, our entire hitch has a matte powder coated finish which is gonna help it blend in with the underbody paneling on the vehicle. It's gonna help protect the hitch from scratches and it's also gonna help protect it from rust being that it is on the underside of the vehicle, subjected to the elements. So adding a trailer hitch to your Sedona, it's gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. more

So, we're not gonna reduce our ground clearance as much. In the etrailer trailer hitch receiver they actually have a nice matte black powder coated finish, which helps protect the hitch from rust and corrosion, being that it is on the under side of the vehicle. And, that matte finish also does a better job of help hiding nicks and scratches, and in most cases that blends in well with the underbody paneling on the vehicle a little bit better. more

Hi, there Kia owners and your 2020 Kia Telluride. We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailers, class three, two inch trailer hitch receiver. We do have the access panel removed and you do have the option to trim out the access panel around the hitch, if you did so you want it itself. But you could just leave a removed. And that's probably the better option if you're going to be adding in a seven way connector and things like that here at the back, because those connectors are quite large and you don't want them hanging down too low. So this is kind of the setup I would recommend if you're going for a full seven way with brake controller setup. more

Today we're going to be working on a 2021 Kia Telluride and we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, Curt's Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver.There might be a few different reasons that you're looking at putting a hitch receiver on your Telluride and one of those is going to be to, obviously, pull a trailer. But maybe you want to get some cargo out of the back of your Telluride and you want to use a cargo carrier or you want to take your bikes out for a trail ride and it's a lot easier to put them on a bike rack than it is to try to put them on the roof or disassemble them and keep them in the back.It looks really sharp on the back of our Telluride. We're not able to see any of our cross tube. The only thing visible is going to be our actual receiver, so it looks really sharp. more

Best 2014 Kia Forte Trailer Hitch Options- Video

Dave: Hi there KIA owners. Today in your 2014 KIA Forte, we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options. Here, we have the two options that's best for our Kia Forte. On top, we have our class one, one and a quarter inch option from Curt and down below, we have our class one, one and a quarter inch option from Draw-Tite. And both of these are great options, but me personally, I find the Curt to be a little bit of a higher quality hitch than the Draw-Tite. The finish seems like it's nicer than the Draw-Tite, the reinforced collar really makes it look nicer and beefier when it's on your Forte, like it's going to be able to handle more. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Kia Forte- Video

Today on your 2014 Kia Forte, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's 1 1/4" trailer hitch receiver.Now, this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You will be able to see the cross tube here at the bottom, as well as the receiver here at the back. But it does stay tucked up pretty nice where our cross tube is here, so it's really not that noticeable when you're standing up, you really have to get down here to notice it. And the collar here at the back has a nice reinforced collar on the end, that in my opinion is the best looking of all the hitches that go on the Forte.One of the things I did notice with this one is it does stick out a little bit further than the competitors as well, which means you're going to have greater clearance when inserting your accessories between the bumper and those accessories. With some of the models that fold up with it tucked in tighter on those other models, it may have contact with the bumper, whereas this one here, we've got that additional clearance, so folding it into the storage position is likely going to give you better results with this hitch.This is a class one, one and a quarter by one and a quarter receiver. So it's going to be great for all of your accessories, whether you're wanting to put a two bike platform rack in it and load it up with a couple of bikes, or maybe free up some space inside your vehicle by putting in a cargo carrier. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Kia Forte- Video

Hi there Kia owners. Today on your 2014 Kia Forte, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install, Draw-Tite's 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver and this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed.Now, you will be able to see the cross tube across the bottom here and the receiver, but they are tucked up fairly well underneath, so when you're standing up looking at it, you really don't notice it too much, except the receiver at the back here. The receiver here doesn't have a reinforced collar though, and that does to me, kind of take away from the appearance of the hitch a little bit.The reinforced collar just gives it a more robust look, but it's still a Class I, 1-1/4 receiver. That's going to be great for your accessories, such as a bike rack. Maybe you can put on a two bike platform rack and load that up. That's going to be great and you could also put a cargo carrier in here, but you do want to keep in mind that you will likely not be able to load that cargo carrier up to the max, but you can get some of the gear that might be in the back of your vehicle, or in the trunk out, to free up for some more space.The tongue weight for this is going to be the force going down on the receiver. more
